what is confessionals?

Confessionals is an all-ages songwriter showcase in Ypsilanti, Michigan to showcase songwriters and give new voices a chance to perform for an engaged, supportive audience. There will be a lineup of local performers, as well as an open mic section that folks can sign up for in advance and at the event.

why though?

Songwriters need a place to perform, to test their wings, and crash as many times as they need to find their way as performers. And we all want to perform for a supportive audience that is tuned into our performance, not just their chicken tendies.

Community is has never been more important.
